Description of Newark Airport which was built on reclaimed land; two wide crossed runways 2000 ft. in length with paved strip in center; use of sod at four corners; two batteries of high-powered floodlights; cables and wiring placed underground; one municipal hangar at present measures 120 ft. on side and houses 25 planes; commercial activities scheduled to center at airport; headquarters of Aviation Division of New Jersey National Guard.
