Characteristics of following: air-cooled engine of 150/180 bhp built by Tatra at Koprivnice plant for rail cars and small locomotives; water cooled V-type four stroke built by CKD at Prague, which is of 300 to 650 bhp for railcars and locomotives; larger slower running series for locomotives developed by CKD for powers of 750 bhp upwards; it is mentioned that Skoda works at Plzen also still build diesel locomotive engines.
