Consideration of steady state characteristics, nonlinear tire forces, axis system and mathematical model which are used for analysis, linear transient response, path response, and nonlinear response; results discussed were obtained from analog computer simulation of vehicle; mathematical model is set of three simultaneous differential equations which describe directional control motion of vehicle; experimental data for model includes measured nonlinear tire forces and moments; these nonlinear characteristics of tires can be used to obtain desired vehicle response by proper chassis design.
