New dry dock described was built in Northern Ireland by Belfast Harbour Commissioners and is reported to be capable of accommodating vessels in 200,000 tons deadweight category; new dry dock has effective length of 1100 ft, entrance width of 165 ft, and depth over sill at mean highwater of 37.9 ft; height of quay above floor near entrance is 48.3 ft and capacity of dock at mean highwater is 44 million gal.
