Brief description of machinery for ferry boat under construction for Clyde Navigation Trust to be used as vehicular ferry from one side of Clyde to other; engines comprising two 6-cyl units with total output of 500 bhp, built by Davey, Paxman and Co, are of standard "6MX" type, direct coupled to 160-kw, 440-v main generators, which supply current to two 220-shp, 220-v, 600-rpm motors.
