Orbiting Geophysical Observatory is attitude stabilized spacecraft designed to provide support for 150 lb of scientific experiments when placed in variety of orbits about earth; spacecraft incorporates active thermal control system, wide-band telemetry system, with real time and data storage capability, and silicon solar cell power supply; design features of spacecraft subsystems; system test station and checkout provisions are detailed, and completed mobile station is shown.
