Mar 18 n 335 p 244: Description of engines and installation work which were used in various ships built during war. Paper read before Royal Aeronautical Society. Mar 25 n 336 p 260-261: Mechanical equipment of principal types, particularly R 33 and R 34. Apr 1 n 337 p 273-275: It is concluded from examination of machinery installed in various types of airships and from theoretical considerations that engine best adapted for installation in gondola of airship is single-line engine of six cylinders. Reasons given for this demand are that engine of this type gives greater degree of accessibility, exhaust piping arrangement is simplified and space available in gondola is more with this type than with "Vee" engine.
