Maritime and aerial transportation facilities recently provided by Newark, N. J., are briefly outlined; at present Port Newark represents expenditure of about $13,000,000 and comprises 11,000 ft. of modern docks, one-and-one-half mi. of 30-ft. channel, and 60 mi. of railway, owned largely by the city.
