Summary of results of current collection tests on test track section of new Tokaido line; in view of state of overhead wire system on new line it is recommended that height difference in wire supporting points between adjacent posts be maintained within plus or minus 3 cm, wire maintenance in booster sections be improved and composite wire adjusters be adopted over entire route, for purpose of realizing high speed current collection with stability.
