Propulsive fluid accumulator (PROFAC) is proposed which, by collecting and storing gases in upper atmosphere of planet and using these gases as propulsive fluid in conjunction with power source can bring about significant decreases in required takeoff mass; principles involved in operation; basic components comprise orbital vehicle, fluid accumulator, and space vehicle; system requirements; producing thrust for propulsion of orbital vehicle; collection and storage of upper atmosphere air.
