Definition of corrosion and corrosion mechanism; rust control system, developed by Ziebart Process Corp, can positively protect vehicle from rust destruction for useful life of average vehicle because it gets into boxed-in areas not economically reached by maker; process of rustproofing is aftermarket matter; effective rust preventives must be water displacing, penetrative and adherent through or on contaminated surfaces of interior body areas and adhere to those metal surfaces by means other than required by paints; coating must be self-healing; application requires special tooling used under complete engineering control to assure protection for every rust susceptible detail of vehicle body.
