Method used at Santa Fe when laying butt-welded rails; connection of long strings with conventional bolted joints in which angle bars are bonded to rails by applying epoxy "glue" to contact surfaces of joint bars and rails to provide strength necessary to resist pulling action of rails; glue used is 2-part epoxy formulation.
