Practicability and economic value of higher steam pressures and temperatures; Bailey furnace wall; in marine practice, it is believed that about 700 deg. total temperature is highest practicable temperature to use; with limitations of weight and space required for Navy, present Express Type of boiler practically prohibits higher steam pressures in naval vessels.
