Commercial plane powered with OX-5 engine but will take Curtiss Challenger 180-hp. air-cooled engine; high speed of 99.7 m.p.h.; airfoil section maintained across top of fuselage; cabin is inset in wing and top of wing forms top of cabin; seats for pilot and two passengers; performance tests; fuselage of welded chrome molybdenum steel; wing ribs, entirely of Alclad pressed into shape from single sheet, are placed on spruce spars; production on large scale at Curtiss-Robertson Airplane Mfg. Co.
