Pilot performed control tasks while subjected to acceleration fields such as encountered by forward-facing pilot flying atmosphere entry vehicle; boundaries of human tolerance to acceleration were established; comparative evaluation of 3-axis type of side arm controller and 2-axis type in combination with toe pedals for yaw control.
