The invention discloses a self-balancing electric double-wheel vehicle. The self-balancing electric double-wheel vehicle comprises two vehicle wheels, torque motors are arranged on the inner circumferences of the vehicle wheels, one side of an inner stator of each torque motor is fixedly connected to an installation base, pedals are connected to the sides, far away from the vehicle wheels, of the installation bases, connecting bases are in rotary connection to the portions, located below the pedals, of the installation bases, the two connecting bases are connected through a linkage base, and the two ends of the linkage base are hinged to the connecting bases. An angle sensor is installed at the portion where one end of the linkage base is hinged to one connecting base and connected with the signal input end of the controller. The controller limits the traveling speed of the vehicle wheels correspondingly according to the angles measured by the angle sensor, and when the angle sensor detects that the included angles between the linkage base and the surfaces of the wheels are reduced, the set speed is increased. The double-wheel vehicle is convenient to use and beneficial to the safety during high-speed traveling.
