The invention discloses a real-time driving mileage prompt method and system for an electromobile. The real-time driving mileage prompt method comprises the following steps: A, reading and updating the driving mileage of an electromobile; B, acquiring the position of the nearest charging pile to the current position of the electromobile every predetermined time, and calculating the distance between the nearest charging pile and the current position of the electromobile; and C, according to the relationship between the driving mileage and the distance, displaying prompt information to prompt a user whether navigation to the position of the nearest charging pile for charging is needed or not. Through adoption of the method, a driver can choose the charging piles more efficiently through learning about the positions of the charging piles around the electromobile in real time; besides, the driven can automatically navigate to the nearest charging pile as required, so that driving is more convenient and quicker; and great convenience is provided for the driver of the electromobile.
