The invention relates to a novel photovoltaic cleaning robot barge system and belongs to the technical field of automatic control. The system comprises a walking track which is disposed at one end ofa photovoltaic module and extends in a second direction, barge equipment which is used for moving on the walking track, identifying the photovoltaic array when the barge equipment moves towards the second direction on the walking track, and stopping moving when the photovoltaic array is identified, and a photovoltaic cleaning robot which has the initial position located on the vehicle connecting equipment and is used for moving in the first direction to leave the vehicle connecting equipment when the vehicle connecting equipment recognizes the photovoltaic array, cleaning the photovoltaic array and returning to the barge equipment after cleaning is completed. The system is advantaged in that a problem that when the number of photovoltaic arrays included in a photovoltaic module is large, aphotovoltaic cleaning robot needs to be placed on each photovoltaic array, and consequently the system structure is complex or manual carrying efficiency is low can be solved. As the photovoltaic array where the photovoltaic cleaning assembly is located can be automatically replaced, cleaning efficiency of the photovoltaic assembly can be improved.
