The invention aims at providing a towed pod propeller capable of generating power by utilizing tidal current energy. The towed pod propeller comprises a pod body, an impeller and a tidal current power generation device, wherein the tidal current power generation device comprises a rotating motor and a storage battery; the rotating motor and the storage battery are located in the pod body; the impeller is located at the tail of the pod body; the impeller is connected with the rotating motor through a transmission shaft; and the rotating motor is connected with the storage battery through a rectifier. According to the towed pod propeller, energy in wake flow generated by a ship propeller is utilized and is converted into electric energy, so that a certain energy-saving effect is achieved; and the structure size of the impeller is set and adjusted in a targeted mode according to the actual hydrodynamic performance data of the pod propeller, the adverse effect of the trailing vortex of the pod propeller can be reduced, the influence of the rotating vortex and the side thrust on the pod body caused by the rotation of the propeller is weakened, and the hydrodynamic performance of the towed pod propeller is improved.

    本发明的目的在于提供一种可利用潮流能发电的拖式吊舱推进器,包括吊舱舱体、叶轮、潮流发电装置,潮流发电装置包括旋转电机、蓄电池,旋转电机和蓄电池位于吊舱舱体里,叶轮位于吊舱舱体尾部,叶轮通过传动轴连接旋转电机,旋转电机通过整流器连接蓄电池。本发明利用了船舶螺旋桨产生的尾流中的能量,并将该能量转化为了电能,起到了一定的节能效果;本发明根据实际的吊舱螺旋桨的水动力性能数据对叶轮的结构尺寸进行针对性的设置和调整,可降低吊舱推进器尾涡的不利影响,减弱因螺旋桨旋转给吊舱舱体带来的旋转涡流和侧推力的影响,改善了拖式吊舱推进器的水动力性能。
