The invention provides a roadside parking space judgment method and an intelligent parking system, and the method at least comprises the following steps: detecting and recognizing a vehicle, obtaining a detection binding frame of the vehicle, and calculating the parameters of the binding frame; calibrating a parking space reference point according to the vehicle parking space, and obtaining the coordinate of the parking space reference point relative to the vehicle binding frame; calculating a relative position relationship between the border of the binding frame and the parking space reference point; and obtaining the parking space of the vehicle according to the numerical value comparison of the relative position. The method has the beneficial effects that on the basis of a video shooting detection method, the parking space is judged by utilizing the relative position change of the calibrated parking space reference point/line and the vehicle binding frame, so that the calculation complexity for determining roadside vehicle parking position analysis is effectively reduced, and the calculation resource demand degree is greatly reduced; roadside vehicle parking positions can be detected in a long-distance and high-overlapping-degree mode, and the number of detected parking spaces is increased; and no extra equipment needs to be installed for the parking space where the roadside parking vehicle is located, and cost is reduced.
