The invention relates to a method for determining the state of a traffic light (2) for a vehicle (1), comprising at least the following steps: determining a category of an intersection area; determining camera identification information of the vehicle (1), behavior information of other traffic participants and/or interactive communication information between the vehicle and the outside; and adjusting the analysis weight of the acquired information according to the category of the intersection area where the vehicle is located, and comprehensively analyzing the camera identification information, the behavior information of the other traffic participants and/or the interactive communication information between the vehicle and the outside in combination with the analysis weight so as to judge the state of the traffic signal lamp (2). The invention also relates to a corresponding computer program product and a corresponding traffic light state judgment system. And the state of the traffic signal lamp can be judged more accurately.
