The invention discloses a transformer lifting and sliding device and an operation method thereof.The transformer lifting and sliding device comprises a lifting ladder, the lifting ladder comprises two ladder bodies, a pulley, a pull rope and a winch, the pulley is arranged on the upper portions of the two ladder bodies, one end of the pull rope penetrates through the pulley and then is connected with the winch, and the other end of the pull rope is connected with the winch; the winch is positioned at the lower parts of the two ladder bodies; the sliding frame can be mounted on the two ladder bodies in an up-down sliding manner, and the sliding frame is connected with the other end of the pull rope; the first conveyor is installed on the upper portions of the two ladder bodies, and the first conveyor and the sliding frame are located on the two opposite sides of the lifting ladder respectively. According to the device, through the combined design of the lifting ladder, the sliding frame and the first conveyor, the transformer can be rapidly lifted and slid to the mounting base to be mounted. And compared with hanging, the cost is greatly reduced, and the method is particularly suitable for being applied to installation scenes of sloping fields and narrow areas.
