The invention belongs to the field of vehicle braking, and particularly relates to a hydraulic braking system which comprises a manual braking valve set and a control valve set, the control valve set comprises a pressure reducing valve, a reversing valve and a shuttle valve, an oil outlet of the pressure reducing valve is connected with an oil inlet of the reversing valve, and an oil return opening of the reversing valve and an oil drainage opening of the pressure reducing valve are communicated and then connected back to a hydraulic oil tank. A working oil port of the reversing valve is connected with a second oil inlet of the shuttle valve, a first oil inlet of the shuttle valve is connected with the oil outlet end of the manual brake valve set, an oil outlet of the shuttle valve is connected with the brake system, the oil inlet end of the manual brake valve set and an oil inlet of the pressure reducing valve are communicated and then connected with the oil supply system, and an oil return port of the manual brake valve set is connected with the hydraulic oil tank. Through control over the valve, besides manual normal braking, automatic intervention of braking hydraulic oil is achieved under the emergency condition, so that the purpose that the whole machine can be automatically braked emergently is achieved, and potential traffic accidents possibly caused by manual misoperation are avoided.
