The invention discloses a cargo boom, a crane and a method for lifting the cargo boom, relates to the field of cranes, and aims to reduce the cost of the cargo boom. The boom includes: a main boom including a first end and a second end; the tower arm comprises a third end and a fourth end; the third end is rotatably connected with the second end of the main arm; the first bracket is rotatably connected with the second end of the main arm; the second bracket is rotatably connected with the third end of the tower arm; the first pulling plate is arranged between the main arm and the first bracket; the second pulling plate is arranged between the tower arm and the second bracket; one end of the first anti-back-tipping assembly is rotatably connected with the first bracket, and the other end of the first anti-back-tipping assembly is slidably connected with the main arm; the length of the first anti-back-tipping assembly can be freely adjusted; the second anti-back-tipping assembly is rotatably connected with the second bracket, and the other end of the second anti-back-tipping assembly is slidably connected with the main arm; and the variable-amplitude rope is wound between the first bracket and the second bracket. According to the scheme, the cost of the anti-back-tipping assembly is greatly reduced.
