The control method for acceleration of the motor-assisted main engine of the hybrid power ship comprises the steps that the target rotating speed of the ship main engine is obtained, and the target output torque is obtained based on the target rotating speed; acquiring a real-time rotating speed of the ship main engine, and acquiring a real-time output torque based on the real-time rotating speed; acquiring a compensation output torque based on the target output torque and the real-time output torque; when the ship is in an acceleration state in the preset mode, before the real-time output torque of the main engine is increased, the motor is controlled to output power based on the compensation output torque; the target output torque is used as the total output torque, the real-time output torque of the main engine is controlled to be increased, the compensation output torque of the motor is controlled to be synchronously reduced, and finally the torque is transferred to the main engine from the motor, so that a sudden loading area is avoided when the main engine accelerates, the oil consumption of the main engine is reduced, and the emission performance is improved.
