The invention discloses a vehicle driving following distance control system, which comprises a driving environment data acquisition module used for acquiring basic driving data and vehicle parameters of a specified vehicle and determining extended driving data according to the basic driving data; the car following index determination module comprises a calculation model control unit, an index definition unit, an index calculation unit and an index output unit and is used for determining and outputting car following indexes; the car following indexes comprise a first safety distance, a second safety distance, a minimum safety distance and an expected car following distance; and the car following distance controller is used for acquiring the expected car following distance and outputting a car speed control requirement to the car speed controller so as to realize car following distance control. According to the technical scheme, the indexes related to the following distance can be calculated according to local conditions, and the following distance can be controlled by combining with the speed controller of the automobile, so that the following driving safety of the automobile and the utilization rate of the road are improved.

    本发明公开了一种车辆行驶跟车间距的控制系统,包括:行驶环境数据采集模块:用于采集指定车辆的基本行车数据、车辆参数,根据所述基本行车数据确定扩展行车数据;跟车指标确定模块:包括计算模型控制单元、指标定义单元、指标计算单元和指标输出单元,用于确定和输出跟车指标;所述跟车指标包括:第一安全距离、第二安全距离、最小安全距离和期望跟车间距;跟车间距控制器:用于获取所述期望跟车间距,向车速控制器输出车速控制需求,实现跟车间距控制。根据上述技术方案,可以因地制宜地计算与跟车间距有关的指标,并与汽车的车速控制器结合,实现跟车间距的控制,提高车辆跟车行驶的安全性和道路的利用率。
