A suspension system and a related control method can reduce temperature-related fluctuations in internal pressure and stiffness of the suspension system. The manifold assembly is in fluid connection with the plurality of shock absorbers through a hydraulic circuit and with the pump assembly through a pump hydraulic line. The in-vehicle sensor generates real-time data relating to the vehicle. A suspension control unit in electronic communication with the components monitors real-time data, sets a target stiffness and a target pressure, calculates an effective stiffness according to the real-time data, determines whether the effective stiffness is higher or lower than the target stiffness, and sets a new target pressure by gradually decreasing or increasing until the new target pressure is reached.
