A chassis comprises a frame and a steering walking mechanism, the steering walking mechanism comprises a bogie connected with the frame, walking frames are rotationally installed at the two ends of the bogie around the vertical axis respectively, walking wheels are installed on the walking frames, and guide frames are rotationally installed at the positions, close to the walking frames, of the bogie around the vertical axis. The guide frame is provided with a guide wheel matched with the vertical side face of the track plate, the guide frame and the walking frame are connected through a connecting rod structure to form a parallel four-bar mechanism with the bogie, the steering walking mechanism further comprises a locking structure for locking the walking frame and the bogie when the steering walking mechanism runs on the road surface, and synchronous steering of the walking wheel and the bogie is achieved. When the vehicle runs along the track plate, the walking frame and the bogie are unlocked, the guide wheels roll along with the bent track plate to drive the walking frame to steer synchronously, and the problem that a walking steering device on a chassis of an existing track plate running vehicle interferes with a driver to affect steering accuracy is solved.
