The invention discloses a quasi-zero stiffness vibration isolator installation method, a propulsion system and an underwater vehicle, and relates to the technical field of vibration suppression, and the method comprises the following steps: analyzing a vibration transmission path of a propulsion shafting in the propulsion system, and determining a main vibration transmission path and a secondary vibration transmission path; the quasi-zero stiffness vibration isolator is installed on a secondary vibration transmission path. By analyzing the vibration transmission path of the propulsion shafting, the quasi-zero-stiffness vibration isolator is installed on the secondary vibration transmission path, vibration transmission is effectively isolated, and the stiffness of the propulsion shafting cannot be obviously reduced.
