The invention discloses a nuclear radiation detection device, which is characterized in that a crawler-type carrier loader carries X and gamma radiation dose rate modules (radiation intensity data acquisition units), is combined with an automatic navigation system and a remote control function, and is specially developed for detecting and monitoring a radiation environment. The device aims to meet complex requirements in nuclear industry, environment monitoring and nuclear accident emergency response, and high efficiency and safety of operation are ensured. In the design process of the crawler-type carrier loader, challenges of actual application scenes are fully considered, the crawler-type carrier loader has high flexibility and accuracy, tasks such as polling, pollution assessment and radioactive source searching can be carried out in a high-radiation environment instead of manual work, and therefore the nuclear safety guarantee level is effectively improved. And meanwhile, visual mapping work is carried out, and mapping data and radiation intensity data are fused, so that a user can conveniently master the radiation distribution condition of the whole environment.
