The invention relates to a pedal feeling-adjustable pedal feeling simulator and a control method thereof, the pedal feeling-adjustable pedal feeling simulator comprises a control unit, a simulation cylinder, a piston and an elastic piece, the piston and the elastic piece are both installed in the simulation cylinder, and the piston moves towards the bottom of the simulation cylinder to compress the elastic piece; a pressure sensor electrically connected with the control unit is mounted in the simulation cylinder; the simulation cylinder is connected with an air inlet pipeline and an air outlet pipeline, the air inlet pipeline is provided with a one-way valve, and the air outlet pipeline is provided with a regulating valve electrically connected with the control unit. The pedal feeling can be adjusted by changing the opening degree of the adjusting valve, and after the adjusting valve fails, the piston can still compress gas in the simulation cylinder, so that the pedal can be treaded down, and the safety is improved. The pedal feeling simulator only needs a gas loop, and compared with a hydraulic tank, a motor and a speed reducing mechanism which are needed by hydraulic pressure, the pedal feeling simulator is simpler in structure. The pedal feeling simulation can adjust the gas pressure in the simulation cylinder according to different modes, so that a driver can adjust the desired pedal feeling more flexibly.
