According to the method, the actual value and the reference value of the yaw velocity are calculated in real time by using the lateral sensor signal and the vehicle driving data, and the road condition is accurately judged by comparing the deviation value of the two values, so that the road condition information is provided for a driver or an automatic driving system in time. When the bad road is detected, the identification information is set, so that early warning is facilitated, a driver can take proper measures, potential driving risks are avoided, and driving safety and comfort are ensured. And meanwhile, the method does not depend on a visual system which is easily influenced by the environment, so that the robustness and adaptability of the road condition recognition system are enhanced.
