The invention relates to a charging sequence control system and method for a charging station. A vehicle charging control system includes: charging locations including N vehicle parking locations and M vehicle chargers, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2 and M is an integer less than N and greater than or equal to 1; and a charging control module configured to set a charging sequence for charging vehicles at the charging locations based on at least two of: (a) arrival times of the vehicles to the charging locations, respectively; (b) the expected departure time of the vehicle from the charging position; (c) the charging level of the battery of the vehicle when the charging position is reached; (d) a target charging level of the battery of the vehicle when leaving the charging position, respectively; (e) respectively determining the credit of the user of the vehicle; and (f) respectively approving, by the user of the vehicle, an additional charge for advance in the charging sequence.
