The invention relates to the technical field of rotor aircraft testing, in particular to a performance test system and method for a magnetic suspension rotor power system, and the system comprises an environment simulation unit which simulates the test environment of the magnetic suspension rotor power system; a test bench unit, wherein the magnetic suspension rotor power system is installed on the test bench unit; the sensor unit comprises a plurality of sensors, and the plurality of sensors are used for acquiring data of the magnetic suspension rotor power system under various working conditions; the test control unit is in electric signal connection with the magnetic suspension rotor power system, the test bench unit, the environment simulation unit and the sensor unit, so that the technical effect of providing comprehensive data basis for evaluation of the power performance, the suspension stability performance, the driving control performance and the like of the magnetic suspension rotor power system is achieved.
