The road surface pit early warning method comprises the following steps: collecting vehicle abnormal information based on a simulation driving model, and delimiting a vehicle pit passing range according to the vehicle abnormal information; predicting the road surface pit degree according to the vehicle abnormal information and the vehicle pit passing range so as to obtain a target pit area; further acquiring simulated vehicle information, and establishing a driving guidance model based on the target pothole area and the simulated vehicle information; and predicting the pothole state of the road surface where the target vehicle is located at a preset moment based on the driving guidance model, and performing early warning according to the pothole state. According to the invention, reverse data mining is realized, vehicle information is reversely deduced, accurate prediction of influence of a certain road surface pothole state on driving safety in the future is realized, and early warning is carried out in advance; moreover, the early warning method is not limited by a driving scene, and is higher in flexibility and adaptability.
