The invention discloses a short-circuit fault current limiting system and method for a hydrogen fuel cell electric propulsion ship, and the principle of the system is that the duty ratio of a bidirectional DC-DC power converter is controlled, the fault loop port characteristics are changed, and the current limiting control in a fault transient state is realized; in the steady state process after the fault occurs, the instantaneous current change rate is used as a criterion for mode switching to switch the control strategy to a constant current limiting control mode, and stable current output after the fault is achieved. According to the method, the cost of a direct-current circuit breaker is reduced, overload of power electronic devices is avoided, the problem that positioning is difficult after an electric propulsion ship breaks down is effectively solved, new fault features are constructed through switching of control strategies, and follow-up fault positioning is facilitated. The method has important engineering application prospects for developing a hydrogen fuel cell electric propulsion ship stable power supply technology.

    本发明公开了一种氢燃料电池电力推进船舶的短路故障限流系统及方法,其原理为利用双向DC‑DC功率变换器占空比的控制,改变其故障回路端口特性,实现故障暂态时的限流控制;在故障发生后稳态过程时,利用瞬时电流变化率作为判据进行模式切换切换控制策略至恒流限流控制模式,实现故障后的电流稳定输出。该方法有助于降低直流断路器成本,避免电力电子器件过载,还有效解决电力推进船舶发生故障后的定位困难问题,利用控制策略的切换构造新的故障特征,方便后续故障定位。本发明对发展氢燃料电池电力推进船舶稳定供电技术具有重要工程应用前景。
