The invention relates to an ultrasonic phased array virtual source detection method for a steel rail head, the ultrasonic phased array virtual source detection of the steel rail head is divided into three detection areas, the first detection area is located above a tread of the steel rail head, and three rail head ultrasonic phased array virtual source probes are arranged; the second detection area and the third detection area are located on the two sides of the rail head respectively, one rail head ultrasonic phased array virtual source probe is arranged on each detection area, and the effective detection area of the rail head is larger than or equal to 90%. According to the invention, a virtual source and a synthetic aperture technology are combined, a virtual sound source is formed on an interface through a phased array probe time-delay focusing method, a focused sound beam forms a diffusion spherical wave after penetrating through the interface, omnibearing sound coverage is carried out on the interior of a detected workpiece, and the purpose of large-range detection is achieved; the mode that the virtual source is arranged behind the probe is adopted, calculation of refraction points in the imaging process is avoided, and the imaging efficiency is improved.

    本发明涉及一种钢轨轨头超声相控阵虚拟源检测方法,钢轨轨头的超声相控阵虚拟源检测分为3个检测区域,检测区域一位于钢轨轨头踏面上方,布置3个轨头超声相控阵虚拟源探头;检测区域二和检测区域三分别位于轨头两侧,分别布置1个轨头超声相控阵虚拟源探头,轨头有效检测区域≥90%。本发明将虚拟源与合成孔径技术相结合,通过相控阵探头延时聚焦的方法在界面形成虚拟声源,使聚焦声束透过界面后形成扩散球面波,对被检工件内部进行全方位声覆盖,达到大范围检测的目的;采用虚拟源设于探头后方的方式,避免了成像过程中折射点的计算,提高了成像效率。
