An object is to provide an anti-skid device for tires which can maintain the speedy and easy attachability even if the tire outer diameter varies more or less. The anti-skid device (S) for tires according to the present invention is configured of elementary units. Each elementary unit (1) has a first main body (11) comprising: a first U-shaped portion (112) that straddles sidewall parts of a tire (T); an inside front extending portion (111); and an outside rear extending portion (113), and a second main body (12) in the same form. The first main body (11) and the second main body (12) are connected with each other at the inward-facing side of the tire. This connection at the inward-facing side of the tire is performed using an inside front connector (131) connected to the first main body, an inside rear connector (132) connected to the second main body, and an inside coupling adjuster (133) connected to them and capable of adjusting the distance (inside connecting length) therebetween. This inside coupling adjuster can appropriately adjust the inside connecting length, so that the steady, speedy and easy attachability of the anti-skid device for tires can be maintained even if the tire outer diameter varies from an expected outer diameter.
