A method for controlling at least a first switching circuit (7a) of a power converter (6), in particular of a rail vehicle, wherein an AC terminal of the first switching circuit (7a) is electrically connected to a first feeding circuit, wherein the first feeding circuit comprises at least one inductive element, wherein at least one parameter depending on a self-inductance of the first feeding circuit and/or depending on at least one mutual-inductance of the first feeding circuit and/or depending on a resistance of the first feeding circuit is determined based on a dynamic current-voltage-model of the first feeding circuit, wherein the first switching circuit (7a) of the power converter is controlled depending on the at least one parameter.
