A control unit (18) of an aircraft (10) divides map data (155), including at least a departure point (P S ) and an arrival point (P E ), into cells (C) in grid form on a horizontal plane, sets a cell route (Rcell) including consecutive cells between the departure point (P S ) and arrival point (P E ), calculates a bending angle bending angle (¸ n ) of the cell route (Rcell) at each cell on the cell route (Rcell), and sets any cell (C) as a waypoint (P W ) in a case where the bending angle (¸ n ) at any cell (C) satisfies the expression ¸ n - 1 ¥ ¸ n < ¸ n + 1 wherein ¸ n-1 and ¸ n+1 respectively represent bending angles at cells C n-1 and C n+1 adjacent to the cell (C) behind and ahead of the cell (C) on the cell route (Rcell).
