As a further component, the temperature-control device (2) comprises a second temperature-control layer (6), which has a second temperature-control element (10) for temperature control and a second temperature-sensing apparatus (30) for sensing a temperature developed in the region of the second temperature-control layer (6) and/or in the region of the second temperature-control element (10). Furthermore, at least one temperature-regulating apparatus (12, 14) is a component of the temperature-control device (2). The temperature-regulating apparatus (12, 14) is used for the temperature regulation of the first temperature-control element (8) of the first temperature-control layer (4) and/or the second temperature-control element (10) of the second temperature-control layer (6). The temperature-regulating apparatus (12, 14) is coupled to the first temperature-sensing apparatus (28) and to the second temperature-sensing apparatus (30). The temperature-control layers (4, 6) are arranged apart from each other at least in some regions. In addition, the first temperature-control element (8) and the second temperature-control element (10) can be regulated independently of each other by means of the temperature-regulating apparatus (12, 14).
