The invention relates to a method for controlling a multiplicity of doors (T1... T4) in a vehicle (FZ), in which commands relating to the opening of doors are transmitted in a computer-aided manner from a central control unit (ZS), using a data bus (DB1, DB2), to a multiplicity of door control devices (TS1... TS5) controlling the doors. The invention provides for the data bus (DB1... DB2) to have a secure data line (DL) which is used to transmit data from the control unit (ZS) to the door control devices (TS1... TS6). Provision is also made for the data bus to have a secure activation line (AL) which is used to transmit an activation signal (AS) from the control unit (ZS) to the door control devices (TS1... TS6), wherein the activation signal causes the door control devices to control the doors (T1... T4) taking into account the status information. In addition, it is possible to provide a clock line for transmitting signal clocking. Safe, door-specific door control is therefore advantageously achieved. The invention also relates to an arrangement and a computer program for carrying out the method mentioned.
