A contact detection device (10) comprises a capacitive sensor (7), and a determination processor (30) that detects whether a conductive body has come into contact with a plurality of detection regions (LF, RF, LB, RB). The determination processor (30) comprises a storage unit (31), a determination reference value setting unit (32), and a determination processing unit (33). The determination reference value setting unit (32) determines that a detection region in which the difference between a capacitance-corresponding value and a setting reference value (41) surpasses a threshold value (43) is a contact region with which the conductive body is in contact, determines that a detection region in which the difference between the capacitance-corresponding value and the setting reference value (41) is less than or equal to the threshold value (43) is a non-contact region with which the conductive body is not in contact, and upon determining that there is a contact region and determining that there is a non-contact region, sets the setting reference value (41) corresponding to the non-contact region as a contact region determination reference value (42) for the contact region.
