The invention relates to a solar-powered water desalination and condensation structure for floating desalination systems, characterised in that it has an essentially inverted cone-shaped or pyramid-shaped geometry, the upper portion of which projects outwards and the lower portion of which is hollow and open so that water rises and enters, contributing to the buoyancy and to the generation and maintenance of a temperature gradient; said structure comprising: (i) a plurality of solar collectors arranged in an inclined fashion and radially on the inner wall of the geometry; (ii) a plurality of evaporator elements connected at the lower ends of the solar collectors, the free ends of which come into contact with the water entering through the lower portion of the structure; and (iii) a collecting pipe that connects with the lower portion of the structure in order to collect the desalinated condensed water.
