The chamber of the reservoir has at least one opening (19) for the chamber to communicate with the outside of the chamber and at least one of the dies (6) is provided with a knife (9) at the area where the outer peripheral rim (5) of the shell (3) bears on said die (6), said method comprising a step of heating the outer peripheral rim (5) and the lateral wall delimiting the hollow body (4) adjacent to said rim (5) of each shell (3), a step of bringing the associated shells (3) and dies (6) together with a view to crushing and cutting said outer peripheral rims (5), a step of introducing and keeping a pressurised fluid inside the chamber of the reservoir, a step of draining said chamber of said reservoir and a step of moving the dies (6) apart with a view to demoulding the reservoir.
