Among other things, techniques are described for predicting the health of vehicle components. The techniques include collecting, using a set of sensors of a vehicle, first sensor data related to a set of events over a period of time, and collecting, using the set of sensors, second sensor data associated with an acute event after the period of time. Using a processor, a health of a component of the vehicle is determined based on the first sensor data and the second sensor data and a correlation between the first and second sensor data and the component of the vehicle. The vehicle is navigated using a control circuit of the vehicle in response to a determination that the health of the component does not meet a predefined threshold.
