PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bending moment affecting a brake system.SOLUTION: A brake system of a travelling crane shifting in a move direction along rails comprises: an inside member connecting to a brake pad causing braking force by contacting to the rails and comprising a pair of part column surface with the width direction of the rails as a central axis; and an outside member connected to the travelling crane and catching the part column surface of the inside member on a plane with the move direction as its perpendicular from the move direction side.
