PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for heavy-load pneumatic tires which is improved in low rolling resistance, wear resistance, uneven wear resistance, wet performance and operation stability at a higher level.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for heavy-load pneumatic tires comprises 35-50 pts. wt. of silica, 1.5-3.5 pts. wt. of sulfur, 0.1-1.0 pt. wt. of a guanidine-based vulcanization accelerator, carbon black, sulfenamide-based vulcanization accelerator and a sulfur-containing silane coupling agent relative to 100 pts. wt. of a diene rubber containing 80-100 wt.% of natural rubber. The total of sulfur as the simple sulfur and sulfur in the sulfur-containing silane coupling agent is 1.85-6.0 pts. wt.; the ratio (T/G) of the blend amount (T) of a terpene styrene resin to the blend amount of the guanidine-based vulcanization accelerator is 2.5-5.0; and the blend ratio of the sulfenamide-based vulcanization accelerator is A pts. wt. or higher, with the value A determined by the specified expression (1), and 2.6 pts. wt. or lower.
【課題】低転がり抵抗性、耐摩耗性、耐偏摩耗性、ウェット性能および操縦安定性を従来レベル以上に改良するようにした重荷重空気入りタイヤ用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】天然ゴムを80〜100重量%含むジエン系ゴム100重量部に対し、シリカを35〜50重量部、硫黄を1.5〜3.5重量部、グアニジン系加硫促進剤を0.1〜1.0重量部、カーボンブラック、スルフェンアミド系加硫促進剤及び硫黄含有シランカップリング剤を配合し、前記硫黄及び硫黄含有シランカップリング剤中の硫黄の合計が1.85〜6.0重量部、前記テルペンスチレン樹脂の配合量(T)と前記グアニジン系加硫促進剤の配合量(G)の比(T/G)が2.5〜5.0であり、前記スルフェンアミド系加硫促進剤の配合量が特定の式(1)により求められるA重量部以上2.6重量部以下であることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
