PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake force control device for a saddle-riding type vehicle in which a brake force is acted when switching a transmission from a neutral state to an in-gear state.SOLUTION: A brake force control device for a saddle-riding type vehicle includes a control device which controls a transmission for decelerating a driving force of an engine at a predetermined speed reduction ratio and transmitting to a driving wheel of a vehicle, a clutch device for connecting/disconnecting the driving force between the engine and the transmission, and a brake device for generating a brake force of the driving wheel. The transmission is configured so as to be able to switch between a neutral state in which a gear train is mechanically disconnected, and an in-gear state in which the disconnected gear train is mechanically connected. The control device, when it detects switching from the neutral state to the in-gear state, generates a brake force to the driving wheel by the brake device, and after that, when a switching operation to the in-gear state is completed, releases the brake force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】変速機をニュートラル状態からインギヤ状態に切り換える際にブレーキ力を作用させるようにした鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンの駆動力を所定の減速比で減速して車両の駆動輪に伝達する変速機と、エンジンと変速機の間で駆動力を断接するクラッチ装置と、駆動輪の制動力を生じさせるブレーキ装置とを制御する制御装置を有する鞍乗型車両の制動力制御装置において、変速機が、ギヤ列を機械的に切断したニュートラル状態と、その切断されたギヤ列を機械的に接続したインギヤ状態との間を切り替え可能に構成されており、制御装置は、ニュートラル状態からインギヤ状態への切り替えを検知すると、ブレーキ装置で駆動輪に制動力を生じさせると共に、その後、インギヤ状態への切り替え動作が完了すると制動力を解除する。【選択図】図9
