PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope-type underwater floating and sinking body that can easily float and sink underwater even in a state of being connected to a rope body.SOLUTION: A rope-type underwater floating and sinking body 1 that can easily float and sink underwater in a state of being connected to a rope body includes a body part 3 having a shape extending in a longitudinal direction, a wing part 4 disposed to the body part 3, and elevation angle adjustment means 5 disposed to the body part 3 for adjusting an elevation angle of the wing part 4. Using the elevation angle adjustment means 5, the elevation angle is adjusted at the time of floating so that lift force generated by the wing part 4 is greater than resistance force generated by the rope body, and the elevation angle is adjusted at the time of sinking so that lift force generated by the wing part 4 is smaller than resistance force generated by the rope body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
